A BIG round of applause for Peter and Janet Imperial who came through as troopers in spite of the snags. Was the moon in retrograde or what! But they were so well appreciated by all of the American tango students who were able to witness many cool new steps performed beautifully by these gracious dancers. Bravissimi!

Peter and Janice will be dancing at the June 2 Spring Party and Showcase at the Pick School of Dancing in San Francisco, 1532 Taraval St.   If you would like to attend this event, note that there is a special discount for early reservations.

COME MEET OUR NEW DANCE INSTRUCTOR. Bud Ayers comes to us with a lot of experience as a ballroom dance instructor. He has taught at the Sunnyvale Community Center, Shall We Dance, Stepping Out, Dance Boulevard, and the Camden Community Center. He has been a coach for the San Jose Dance Sport Team since 2010. He was in charge of training teachers and assisting in choreography at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio. His students say he makes them feel comfortable. He continues to teach in Sunnyvale and Camden, and will begin teaching for us at Santa Clara in January of 2018.  We will be showcasing Bud Ayers at our annual Black + White Ball.

Bud will be teaching foxtrot at 6:30pm for the month of January. The instruction is free with the price of admission.

We celebrated Joe Brcich, who was our dance instructor for more than 30 years, at our Thanksgiving dance as he will be leaving the end of this year. Here he is with the trophy we presented to him. He will be missed.
